Each year KCU invites students from across the Kettering District to spend their two-week work experience week at KCU. Students spend their time across all the volunteering locations. This year the work experience students from Tresham had the added benefit of having a designated mentor to support them on till training; Foodbank hub, warehouse and admin tasks.  More Mentor/Befriender information can be found here…

The new van will assist in delivering the Foodbank parcels to our partners. This was made possible by Jamie at Palmers Butchers. KCU would like to say thank you for the donation of the van and  continued support!

Collection of large items donated to KCU Shops is carried out every Thursday.

Before we accept an item we need to be sure that it will sell and is in good condition.

If we have space available and are able to take your donation a member of the KCU Staff Team will call you on a Wednesday prior to collection day. The collections team will also call on the Thursday and let you know they are on their way.

If you are able to take the donation to the shop yourself please call ahead to ensure we have adequate space.

We are always in need of good quality furniture and household goods donations especially:

  • White goods
  • Bedroom furniture

Please contact our office on 01536 481989 or call into our shop on Gold Street to find out more information on donating and collections of large items.
